Periodically we will send you these special e-mails so keep a sharp lookout. Certain offers may be at cost or even below cost and quantities may be very limited or offered for only a certain period of time just to get your attention. Hard to Believe, A True Rustic Rhone Style Wine From Israel!!!
Pierre Miodownick has worked for over 25 years as the head winemaker for Royal Wine Europe, producing some of the most famous and high quality kosher wines on the face of the earth. In 2008, he moved to Israel, where he finally had the opportunity to make wines in the style of his choosing.
Domaine Netofa is located near the famous Kerem ben Zimra, in the Galillee, which is well known for having one of the best climates in israel for grape growing. While many wines from Israel are big and bold, Domaine Netofa wines are refined and elegant, after the the Rhone valley style of winemaking. Domain Netofa, after its inaugural harvest, has already received rave reviews from publications such as the Wine Advocate.
Must try ot to believe it!

Latour Netofa 2010
"The 2010 Latour Netofa blends Syrah and Mourvedre, and was aged in French oak. As I saw last year, in some respects this isn’t all that far off from the Domaine Netofa Estate Red reviewed this issue. As it aired out, though, this got the clear nod this year. This Latour Netofa showed additional finesse, fleshed out a bit more and developed better. It is the better wine on that basis alone. One other difference this year is the funk level on the wines. On this Latour Netofa, the earthy, gamey, somewhat barnyard-y aromatics are certainly there and familiar if you’ve already had the Estate Red – these wines came with the same philosophy and same design, to be sure – but it is a bit better controlled and integrated. To be sure, that’s relative and some will still not appreciate it, but there is a lot to like in this beautifully crafted, very elegant, complex and nuanced wine. French-styled and bright, it is more a “character” wine than sweet and rich. You’ll have to like its earthy aromatics. They won’t be for everyone. Give it 30 minutes of air. Drink now-2018."WA
